I’d recommend finding a good printer whom you can work with as opposed to printing things yourself. There’s an art to getting these things done well and a lot of wasted merchandise and expensive equipment on the road to consistently well printed shirts. I have a guy who’s pretty awesome if you need an introduction. Other than that, it’s just a matter of getting shirts in front of people and sending the orders out. I do all my own fulfillment after some bad experiences farming it out back in the day. It makes the profit margin per shirt pretty good even in small quantities.
Firstly congratulations that you have already decided to start the business. I am writing this answer exactly how I would have planned this business. Let’s start with defining stages of the business: Product PlanningPlacement – What is the Target customer group you have in mind. That will define your product range. Your TG will also help you devise strategy for entire product range. Once you have decided your TG (Age, Gender, Location, Preferences, Purchase Capacity etc.). Do a quick research on what are they wearing presently. What do they aspire to wear? Then through in some evergreen styles and you have your product range ready.
